Research consistently shows that when girls are equipped with the right resources and mentorship, their chances of staying in school and excelling academically increase. Providing both educational material and psychosocial support is therefore essential in bridging the educational gap and ensuring that girls are not left behind. To address these challenges, Victory Empowerment Center sponsored the Back-to-School Initiative by Girls Inspired Development Network, with medical support provided by AMC Hospital. At Girls Inspired Africa, preparing girls for the new academic session remains a core priority, and through mentorship, we remain committed to seeing girls excel in their educational journey. The program commenced with a medical check-up provided by our co-partner, AMC Hospital, to ensure the girls were fit and ready for the new school session. This was followed by an energizer activity and a self-reflection exercise to help the girls connect with their identity and aspirations. The girls received a life-inspiring lecture from the Senior Program Specialist, Adebukola Adeboye, on “Starting a New Term and Finishing in Flying Colours.”

The Victory Empowerment Centre Client Health Wellness Check Project was a comprehensive initiative aimed at promoting the overall well-being of our clients. The project, which has now come to a close, successfully provided regular health checks, education, and support to empower clients to take control of their health. Key Achievements: 1. Improved Health Outcomes: Clients demonstrated significant improvements in their health, including reduced blood pressure, improved blood glucose control, and enhanced overall well-being. 2. Increased Client Engagement: Clients reported increased satisfaction with the services provided, feeling supported and empowered to manage their health. 3. Enhanced Client Education: Clients gained valuable knowledge on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management, enabling them to make informed decisions about their health.
